“I have over 30 years of experience with Assisted Living, Memory Care and Skilled Rehab operations. Graduate of Ferris State University and Licensed Nursing Home Administrator. I live in Pennfield and raised three children with my husband of 38 years, and rescue Senior Weimaraners and Beagles. I love to spoil my 6 grandchildren and rescue pups, and spend as much time as possible in Florida.”

“For the last six years, I've been fortunate enough to work with seniors and their families as they move across the continuum of care. My husband and I live in the small, southwest Michigan town we grew up in and we have a three-year-old son who keeps us very busy. In our spare time, we spend a lot of time with our friends and family. When I happen to get a moment alone you'll find me huddled up with a good book."


Stephanie Watson, LPN

Director of Resident Care

Stephanie most recently worked for Kindred Home Health conducting home visits. She has been a Unit Manager at skilled rehab centers and has experience in supervising staff and meeting the clinical needs of acutely ill residents.  Stephanie lives in Kalamazoo and has a 16 year old son.  She is a U of M fan, a dog lover and compassionate about seniors.

“For the past 7 years, I have worked for Lakeview Assisted Living and have always had a soft spot for the senior population. Prior to that, I spent 25 years in the medical field. I have 2 grown daughters and 7 wonderful grandchildren that I spend as much time with as possible. I also have 2 big fur babies at home that keep me quite busy.”

“I have worked for the Ganton family for over 16 years, starting at the original Lansing location, which is where I live with my husband of 36 years.  We have 2 adult children, one grandson, and of course our big ole’ Great Pyrenees – Leila.  In our spare time, we enjoy camping, kayaking, hiking, biking & reading.  I love working for Ganton’s along with enjoying the residents & all my co-workers!"

Chef Cary has over 25 years of culinary experience. He was born and raised in Texas and moved to Michigan with his wife, Pam, in 2017. It was then that he discovered his passion for working with the senior population. His focus is providing meals that are nutritious, flavorful and appealing; a combination of what people may have cooked in their homes and experienced at their favorite restaurant.
